As you can see on the top of the image, I took reference from Jajamaro's character design of Okami in human form. Jajamaro, who puts his artworks at Loverial+Phantom([link]), has made character and costume designs of Okami in human form.
I love his design and I made a drawing of it. But I wasn't able to finish it so I made it as a New Year gift drawing.
In the original character design she is a little girl but I'm bad at drawing little girls so I made "a little" modification. I was kinda tired at finishing the background so I put some layout design on it so it won't look so weird.
Last but not least, Happy New Year!!

The way you use the colors remember me so good artist that i know. I can only encourage you by a simple word.. GO! and nothing much ( cause i'm a noob in colors u_u.. yerg ) How many time do you spend on your painting? i mean mainly on the biggest. awesome again, it's just look like OMG!
well it depends since I'm still a student and the school works are so heavy-loaded so I can only draw using few free time. I usually spend most of the time on changing the poses, costume designs, and etc. (I hardly make up my mind). So I don't know how much time I actually spend on the painting part

that's a good timin'... and a very nice one if you do that by speand time when you can make a break. I mean that to retake a draw or a paint after a longtime. I tryed to paint like this one day, that ws a very bad feelings, because i've lost the "euphorie" the pleasure to paint at this moment really... i was lost on the draw really.. : / but anyway as gnk said, that's wonderful :] wow this is so beautiful and amazing. wonderful job.
