Chess Set ver.2 by kidkidkidkid Chess Set ver.2 by kidkidkidkid
I was playing around with shapes and lines. At first there were only Queen and Knight and I thought it would be interesting to draw some more to make them into a Chess set. I actually only know the basic of Chess so most of the ideas came from their names literally.

--- Ver.2 --------------------
I made some changes after looking through your comments, which are very useful and inspiring. The biggest problem is their silhouettes are very similar and hard to recognize. I hope the changes are better, but may still not enough.

I think for making a chess set there should be more of a difference in size and shape.
I read the description but I wanna say how I think a difference between the pieces can be made.

Like fore the could have the pawn be a little smaller and simpler-maybe less intricate detail.
Also have each side be their own color ^_^

I will agree with you and dale here that the changes are not enough. I mean, you really barely changed them at all. And I get it. youre married to the designs. It happens to all of us. But the characters are still not very distinguishable. I think what hurts you most is that they are all of the same general height and width. Look at actual chess pieces and imagine how those shapes might influence your designs. The rook is short and squat, the bishop tall and spindly. Maybe the knight is bent over because he carries an exaggerated weapon. And the pawn? midget. Think about that kinda thing. It will really help your designs.
